I’m a military “brat”.  I spent most of my childhood in Japan where my father gave me his old Nikkormat and I discovered photography. I was transplanted to Northern Virginia for the latter half of high school.  College in DC.  Worked in the news gathering field after college.  Transitioned to working film production here in LA.
I always have a still camera with me.  I can’t draw, so I shoot pictures.  The camera is like my sketchpad.  I find my pics are random and arbitrary.  Sometimes they’re interesting.

I had been attending the Downtown Los Angeles artwalk for a number of years, and I slowly began to fall in love with Downtown LA.  I decided to move there, and I lived in a loft in the Title Guarantee Building on the corner of 5th and Hill for two years.  During that time, I explored the city extensively, especially the downtown area.  I’ve since moved away, but I hope to move back there again sometime soon.
